GenomePlex® Complete Whole Genome Amplification (WGA) Kit
Description
| Frequently Asked Questions | Live Chat and Frequently Asked Questions |
| Other Notes | The sequences of the universal primers provided in this kit are considered proprietary. |
| Features and Benefits | • Successfully produces a negative control sample without product • Flexibility to study DNA from any source • No detectable locus or allele bias • Compatible with a variety of microarray, capillary, and homogenous platforms for sequencing, genotyping, CGH, FISH, ChIP • Increased sensitivity and accuracy for population studies, mutation discovery, and pharmacogenomics |
| General description | WGA is suitable for use with genomic DNA, blood, soil, plant, buccal swabs, cultured cells, and FFPE tissues. Amplification requires only a small amount of starting material (1 μl blood, single cheek swab, 10 ng of gDNA, or minimum 10 ng of damaged DNA), which after PCR produces a yield of 5-10 μg per reaction. The amplified DNA can be purified and stored or used for downstream analyses including ABIs TaqMan® assays, microsatellite analysis, or sequencing. |
